Do I sign up for class online?
Clients must reserve for class at least 3 hours prior to class start! Online sign up is to ensure that you’ve signed the liability waiver and read our Terms & Conditions, and guaranteed a spot. Clients that do not register will be charged a $5 drop in fee in addition to the the Single Class fee for a total of $40. Download the App: from the Apple Store or from the Play store, you're choice! The app is not as detailed as the website but it's very useful!
What should I wear to class? Should I wear heels?
For pole dance classes, you should wear shorts (something comfortable), a tank top and a sports bra. It may feel weird to wear so little clothing at first but you need to have a lot of skin exposed in order to stick to the pole. Fabric will slide off the pole. You can purchase shoes, shorts, sports bras, and grip aid in the studio as well. For grounded, aerial and flexibility classes, you should wear fitted tank top and leggings that cover the backs of the knees and torso. This will help avoid burns caused by friction with the silks or hoop.
What is your class cancellation policy?
You can cancel a class online 3 hours in advance and keep your class credit. For cancellations with less than 3 hours notice, your class will be forfeited and you will be charged a $5 no show fee. Most of our pole classes fill up so this policy is to ensure fairness and access to classes. Note that this class cancellation policy is strict. Once your $5 fee has been paid, you can receive the unused class back with the same expiration date. If MBS cancels a class it will automatically be returned to schedule another class.
How does the waitlist work?
If you are waitlisted for a class, you must pay in advance to be added to the waitlist. You will receive an email notification, if you are added in to class off of the waitlist. If class fills and you do not get into a class that you have been waitlisted for, you will maintain your class credit for future use on your account. The class will be good for 14 days from date of purchase.
Do you have any new client specials?
Yes! For first time clients with no experience, we offer the "Finding the Fun in Fitness" 3 class package for $65. The classes are Intro to Pole or Pole Level 1, a non-pole class and a Choreography class. Classes can not be substituted or shared. These 3 classes expire after 14 days from date of purchase. Select "Finding the Fun in Fitness" offer for this option at check out. We offer the "Visitor's Pass" for experienced pole clients, a 3 class package for $75. The classes are Pole Level 1 or Pole Level 1/2, or Pole Level 2, a non-pole class and a Choreography class. Classes can not be substituted or shared. These 3 classes expire after 14 days from date of purchase. Select "Visitor's Pass" offer for this option at check out. Only available prior to 1st visit.
How do I book an private appointment or pole party?
All appointments can be reserved online under Pole Parties or Private Lessons . Once you log in select appointments and select the appointment of your choice. You can call, email or visit the front desk if you need assistance. Space rentals are for personal use (practice, rehearsals, videotaping, etc.), and are not for profit purposes.
Do class purchases expire?
Most class purchases are good for 14 days. If the class is not used it may be possible to extend the expiration date with a $5 fee. If a refund is requested and only 1 class has been taken, the refund will be less the full drop in value. For unused passes that have expired, you can "Revive" the class with a $10 fee and receive a new expiration date.
