Mommy's Matter

Being a mom shouldn't stop you from working out! As a matter of fact, it's highly encouraged. How comfortable you are is truly what's important.

As a new mom (again) I was determined to get back into a groove sooner than later, especially with the lifting of COVID restrictions. I was adamant that I was going to enjoy the next few years before I had to buckle down for elementary school with our newest edition. Walking postpartum was a huge factor in regaining the body I once had and the fact that I made plans and reservations to participate in Miami Carnival helped me stick to my goals.

Going inside to workout in a safe space was never an issue for me because I created a safe space for the pole community in Prince George's County, MD. I actually began to look forward to my new body and my ability to regain the strength that I once had.

The Reasons I choose to stick with Pole during Postpartum was easy:

  1. It's a fun and sexy way to work out

  2. It's easy to build / rebuild your confidence doing something that allows you to be sensual and reconnect with your body.

  3. Movement improves your mood! A body in motion stays in motion and allows you to release tension and stress and endorphins.

  4. The support is the pole community is nothing but love! This inclusive environment creates a safe space for you to be as unique as you can be!
