Being a mom shouldn't stop you from working out! As a matter of fact, it's highly encouraged. How comfortable you are is truly what's important.
As a new mom (again) I was determined to get back into a groove sooner than later, especially with the lifting of COVID restrictions. I was adamant that I was going to enjoy the next few years before I had to buckle down for elementary school with our newest edition. Walking postpartum was a huge factor in regaining the body I once had and the fact that I made plans and reservations to participate in Miami Carnival helped me stick to my goals.
Going inside to workout in a safe space was never an issue for me because I created a safe space for the pole community in Prince George's County, MD. I actually began to look forward to my new body and my ability to regain the strength that I once had.
The Reasons I choose to stick with Pole during Postpartum was easy:
It's a fun and sexy way to work out
It's easy to build / rebuild your confidence doing something that allows you to be sensual and reconnect with your body.
Movement improves your mood! A body in motion stays in motion and allows you to release tension and stress and endorphins.
The support is the pole community is nothing but love! This inclusive environment creates a safe space for you to be as unique as you can be!
